Dan Greaney came to NSCA following many years of active interest in birds. Witnessing the precipitous declines in birds and wildlife in general, he saw he had to expand his focus from enjoyment to protection. “If we keep the environment healthy for birds, we will be keeping it healthy for us. That is the humane and responsible thing to do,” he says. “It's more fun than trashing the place, too.”
